Lead the Community That’s Changing the Future of Ranching
Cattleman U Community Manager
Location: Hybrid (must relocate or travel regularly to Montana)
Start Date: August 1, 2025 | Applications Due: July 15, 2025
Full-Time Position
At Cattleman U, we’re not just building a brand—we’re building a movement. We believe the future of agriculture lies in strong communities, smarter operations, and women stepping confidently into leadership roles in the ranching industry.
We’re looking for a Community Manager who can lead with purpose, operate with precision, and bring new energy to our team. You’ll oversee projects, guide strategy, deepen relationships with members and alumni, and help us expand our reach in a way that’s aligned with our values and rooted in rural strength.
This is a hybrid position—you’ll need to be based in Montana or willing to relocate/travel frequently to Montana. We want someone who thrives in both digital and in-person environments and is passionate about community, connection, and creating long-term impact in the ag space. What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the Cattleman U team, helping prioritize tasks, implement systems, and maintain forward momentum on all key initiatives.
Manage and update the Cattleman U website (built on Squarespace), ensuring all pages, forms, and event details are current and functioning.
Write and send all weekly and campaign emails via MailerLite to members, podcast listeners, and event participants.
Support and coordinate in-person events, including She’s a Hand Ranch Camp, speaker retreats, and additional live experiences.
Develop and launch our Ranch Camp Alumni Program to nurture continued relationships and create high-value experiences for past participants.
Help elevate the Cattleman U Podcast through strategic scheduling, content planning, and audience growth initiatives.
Strategize social media direction (not manage day-to-day posting), ensuring content aligns with brand voice, messaging goals, and funnel priorities.
Play a key role in retention strategies—building and maintaining strong, personal relationships with current members and Ranch Camp alumni.
Understand and implement sales funnel strategies that guide leads from awareness to enrollment and long-term engagement.
Consistently bring ideas to improve user experience, brand engagement, and mission alignment.
Who You Are:
A mission-driven leader who’s passionate about empowering women in agriculture and supporting rural entrepreneurs.
Highly organized and confident managing both projects and people.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital-first environment—with the ability to travel for in-person events as needed.
Experienced in relationship-building and community retention—you understand how to serve people well, not just attract them.
Strategic, proactive, and capable of seeing the big picture while executing the small details.
Tech-savvy, with experience or willingness to learn:
Squarespace (for website edits)
MailerLite (email campaigns)
Canva (for light design and branding work)
Social strategy platforms (you’ll guide strategy, not posting)
Bonus Points If You:
Have planned and executed live retreats, workshops, or member events
Have experience in membership or alumni community building
Understand content strategy and email automation as part of a sales funnel
Have a background in ag communications, coaching, ranching, or rural entrepreneurship
Have helped grow or support a personal brand or digital education platform
